Repeating the Exam

Written Component

No candidate can take the Written Component more than 3 times in any one calendar year.

You can ask us to rescore your exam if you think there might be a mistake in your exam score report. There is more information about rescoring in the Exam Policies and in the Frequently Asked Questions.

You can request Administrative Reconsideration if you think that there were issues on the day of the exam that affected your performance. There is more information about Administrative Reconsideration in the Exam Policies and in the Frequently Asked Questions.

CAPR is no longer administering the clinical exam virtually or in-person for the foreseeable future.

If you have passed the written exam, contact your regulator for details about the process they require for you to become fully licensed.
