Tele-rehabilitation placements will be temporarily considered by Credentialling Program

On June 17, CAPR’s Board of Directors confirmed that tele-rehabilitation placements will be temporarily considered as Supervised Clinical Practice Hours for internationally-educated physiotherapists applying to CAPR’s Credentialling Program. CAPR will consider placements that began on or after March 26, 2020, in Canada or abroad, as part of a recognized physiotherapy program. Please note that this is a temporary measure taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Credentialling applicants should request that documentation confirming their tele-rehabilitation placement be sent by their educational institution to CAPR. Documentation received on or after June 17, 2020, will be considered.

For more information, we encourage applicants to review the presentation below regarding the credentialling process during COVID-19. If you have additional questions, please contact us at credentialling@alliancept.org.
