Remote Proctoring of the Written Component of the PCE

PCE candidates now have the option to complete the Written Component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam through remote proctoring. CAPR has introduced this option to maximize access to the Written Component during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

The first exam to be offered through remote proctoring will take place on August 29, 2020, and remote proctoring will be available for all Written Component exam dates scheduled in 2020. Thanks to the recent loosening of public health restrictions in many jurisdictions, candidates who wish to complete the PCE Written Component in a traditional, “bricks and mortar” test centre, may do so. Remote proctoring is an alternative for candidates, not a requirement.

We encourage each candidate to review our FAQ about remote proctoring before deciding if it is the right choice for you during this time. We hope the information we’ve provided will support you in making a confident and informed decision.
