PCE Written Component remote proctoring platform no longer supports Windows 7

Candidates planning to write the PCE Written Component through remote proctoring should note that Prometric’s ProProctor platform can no longer be run using the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. With Microsoft ending its support of Windows 7, Prometric will no longer support its compatibility with ProProctor.

Written Component candidates taking the exam through remote proctoring will now be required to use the Windows 8 operating system or a more recent version. The minimum OS requirement for Mac users remains 10.13 or higher. Candidates who are unsure about the compatibility of their operating system with the current version of ProProctor should visit the ProProctor website to perform a System Readiness Check.

CAPR has updated our materials to reflect this change to ProProctor. Please click here to visit our webpage regarding remote proctoring of the Written Component for updated materials.
