Important Notice Regarding Canada Post Strike

In preparation for the Canada Post strike, we are providing notice that should the postal system go on strike in Toronto, we will stop sending documents via regular mail.  All documents will be sent via email.

Should we need to take this measure, it will be a temporary measure only.  Once the labour issue has been resolved, we will resume sending documents via regular mail. Unless otherwise noted, documents sent via email are for information only.  Official copies will be sent once regular mail service resumes.

To ensure that CAPR receives documents from you, we strongly encourage you to use private courier companies until the Canada Post labour issues are resolved. CAPR cannot be responsible for documents lost or delayed by Canada Post as a result of the strike.

For credentialling applicants, CAPR may provide an extension for receipt of external documents that are required on a case-by-case basis.  Please send in your own documents and application forms via courier to ensure timely delivery.  If you have taken an IELTS or TOEFL language test, please arrange for the testing centre to send your results to us electronically.  If you have any questions, please contact us at If you have not provided us with an email address and would like to add one to your file, please complete our Change of Information Form and send this to us by email to or by fax at 416-234-8820.

For exam candidates, exam registration and fee deadlines will still be enforced.  Please be sure to send us your information via courier in time to meet the stated deadlines.  We will not be offering extensions for exam registration, Administrative Reconsiderations or appeals.  Please contact if you have any questions.

We will post new information as it becomes available so please check our website and Facebook page regularly for updates.
