Clinical Component – Change in exam day candidate sequestering

The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) is committed to fairness, exam security, improved candidate exam experience, and best practices in exam administration. With this in mind, we announce the introduction of a sequestering period for clinical exam candidates – some candidates will need to arrive early before starting the clinical exam; while other candidates will need to stay at the exam centre after finishing the clinical exam.

Effective as of the November 20, 2016 clinical exam, candidates will be subject to the following sequestering practices:

  • Morning administration candidates at the Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, and Winnipeg sites will be sequestered for a period AFTER signing out of the exam.
  • Afternoon administration candidates at the Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Vancouver sites will be sequestered for a period BEFORE signing in to the exam.

Candidates will be provided with site and exam administration (morning and afternoon) assignments, as well as detailed sequestering information, in their registration package.
