Carole Beauvais joins CAPR as National Director of Evaluation Services

CAPR is pleased to welcome Carole Beauvais as our new National Director of Evaluation Services. Carole is an experienced, strategic and thoughtful leader, who brings 35 years of experience working in the Ontario healthcare system. Carole has held leadership and/or executive roles at Joseph Brant Hospital, the Northern Diabetes Health Network, the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integrated Network, VON and most recently at Nucleus Independent Living, where she was Chief Executive Officer.

Carole began her career as a registered nurse in pediatric clinical practice, spending many years at Toronto Sick Kids. She transitioned to management where she progressed through leadership and executive roles across many sectors of the healthcare system, including acute care, home and community care. She has engaged in health system planning, development and funding to enhance access to care across vastly different geographic areas, ranging from urban regions to remote northern First Nations.

Carole has led strong and diverse multi/inter-disciplinary care teams in the delivery of person-centred, high quality and evidence-based care and services. She has a track record of collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government and provincial/regional health system authorities, health organizations, researchers, healthcare and community leaders, as well as patients and clients. Carole has built organizational capacity and high performing teams to realize service quality improvements, increase client satisfaction and optimize service delivery efficiency during time spent in each of the public, non-profit and private sectors.

Carole earned an MBA in Health Services Management and a Master of Science in Clinical Health Sciences from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University and a Diploma of Health Sciences in Nursing from Algonquin College. Carole is also a Certified Health Executive member with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
