CAPR preparing for internal launch of new ERM system

Construction of CAPR’s highly anticipated electronic-records management system is nearly complete. That’s right—the age of paper applications and postage stamps is coming to end at CAPR; our operations are about to move into the digital world!

After many months of planning and preparing, designing and building, we will launch internal testing of the new cloud-based system in August. Our team will have access to newly digitized historical files, allowing for a smooth transition from paper to digital record keeping.

The new system—which features a client self-service portal—will launch to our external stakeholders later this year. Through the online client portal, exam candidates and credentialling applicants will be able to:

• Fill out and submit applications and other forms
• Submit selected supporting documentation
• Make credit card payments
• Update their own profile information (e.g., change of address)
• Access real-time status updates

The client portal will also benefit CAPR’s Regulator members by allowing them self-service access to information about prospective registrants.

This new ERM system provides CAPR with processing, reporting and data-analysis power like we’ve never had before. We look forward to leveraging these new capabilities to deliver an efficient, client-focused experience to our stakeholders and to bolster our work as a data-driven organization.

Stay tuned for updates about the external launch!
