CAPR Continues to Deliver Services—from a Distance

Like most organizations, CAPR has had to make major adjustments to the way we do business in order to continue to deliver services during the COVID-19 pandemic. To encourage physical distancing, most of our employees are working remotely for the first time ever.

While we’re still adapting to doing business at a safe physical distance, our Examinations and Credentialling teams continue to work diligently to serve CAPR candidates and applicants.

Our Examinations team continues to:

  • Work with external stakeholders and our examination administration partners on a plan to reschedule and deliver postponed examinations
  • Process and issue re-score, file review and administrative reconsideration requests from applicable Written or Clinical Components
  • Accept and process new applications received by mail or courier
  • Process verification request forms received by mail or courier
  • Process appeal requests received by mail or courier
  • Respond to candidate questions and concerns via email and telephone

Our Credentialling team continues to:

  • Process new applications received by mail or courier
  • Process Re-opened File applications received by mail or courier
  • Process written supporting documentation received by mail or courier
  • Process results of Context of Physiotherapy Practice in Canada courses
  • Process language scores
  • Complete files with precedent (precedent files)
  • Assess files without a precedent (non-precedent files), where possible (as previously announced, some non-precedent files may experience significant delays due to service disruptions being experienced by WES and ICAS)
  • Respond to applicant questions and concerns via email and telephone

Please understand that our physical offices are closed to the public at this time, and we cannot accommodate walk-ins or in-person inquiries.

CAPR will continue to provide regular and timely updates regarding any changes in our services on our website and social media.
