CAPR Provides Subject Matter Expertise for FRAUDOC Publications on Diploma Mills and Document Fraud

The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) is honoured to be one of the key organizations that provided subject matter expertise for FRAUDOC Project Publications on Diploma Mills and Document Fraud. The FRAUDOC project will benefit credential evaluators worldwide by helping to fight the widespread problem of fraudulent and diploma mill credentials.

The recently published guide on diploma mills includes a detailed description of diploma mills and accreditation mills, information regarding grey areas of recognition, and highlights case studies and examples of diploma mills.

In October 2017, CAPR was invited to share its expertise on diploma mills and document fraud with CIMEA-NARIC Italia and the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC) as part of the FRAUDOC Project. CIMEA-NARIC Italia is a national information centre for Italy and CICIC is a national information centre for Canada; both organizations provide information on the recognition of foreign diplomas, degrees and other qualifications.
